Detection and prevention of colorectal cancer

Colorectal cancer is one of the most common one in men and women over 50 years old. If detected early, it is very easy to treat and is very likely to be cured. This type of cancer usually does not cause any discomfort until the disease is highly advanced. Therefore, it is very important to make an early diagnostic and to detect it before it begins to produce symptoms.

Since 2013, all money collected through this programme goes to the “Detection and Prevention of Colorectal Cancer” project led by Dr. Antoni Castells, from the Clinic Institute of Digestive and Metabolic Diseases (ICMDiM).
